Pros and cons of Learn Hebrew - WordPower app for iPhone and iPad

Learn Hebrew - WordPower app good for

I have no doubt this program will greatly help me learn Hebrew. The design and layout is excellent and very user friendly. Looking forward to future updates!
A good app, it helps to learn a not easy language. Also th e website is vero good.

Some bad moments

Not all the vocabulary is available in a spoken version. A lot of major words seem to miss.
This app is great on my iPhone 4 but continually crashes on my iPad. For the price I expected a whole lot more from this app. Very disappointed. Im even having trouble just finding the settings for it. The layout is difficult to maneuver around and it seems clumsy to work with. I hope these issues get resolved as my iPad is what I paid to use this on.
This app needs work to be really great. Excellent ideas but misses the mark on at least half of the translations (yes I know, no translation is really perfect, but some of these are way off base.) It would also be nice to have masculine/feminine versions of all of the adverbs/adjectives/nouns that its applicable on (even if they couldnt add the voice for it, it would be great just to have the romanization there to see). And my last dying wish is for verb conjugations, what you get here is just the infinitive, which in Hebrew is very little help as to how the word will actually be conjugated. Also for some reason there are 2 of the same word in every category, which is just an annoyance. Ok but really... not a bad program, but not worth 10 bucks.
Ok but it really needs verb conjugations male/female etc. Also like how the 1935 words is rounded up in the review to 2000. Will more words be added. Also needs more common phrases.
As I may be returning to Israel this year, i wanted to learn more than the 3 years of Hebrew School I can remember (which is little if anything). After reading the reviews of all the other Apps, and having had the Lite version of this (Word a Day) i took a gamble (since there were only 2 reviews, neither positive). That it has more words (ALMOST 2000) and phoenetics is great! I LOVE that I can hear the pronunciation as well as the Hebrew spelling. Better to hear so when i am there and someone tells me something, I dont have to ask them to write it. I like the word bank. I will stock up on the words I think will be most useful and learn those before I go, the rest I can reference. Words are in categories (great for looking) as well as searching. I dont worry about speaking like a native when I am there. Besides, I would think if I say "Where Bathroom" will get me what I need just as good as "Where is your bathroom?"! Since I was unable to access the Hebrew Travel website (even though only $5) what I saw did not give me enough of what I need. So, heres to the company that offers the most comprehensive and useful Hebrew dictionary in the App store.
im only 12, nd my dad works way to much, so he dosnt have the time to teach me. THIS APP HELPED ALOT!!
